Great motel for great price. Clean and up to date, helpful friendly owner, strong fast free internet, pets allowed. Missing ice machine was my only complaint.
This place is awful. We stayed there for 6 nights and was "ok" until our last (7th) night. We had 2 small dogs in the room that we did not pay for. Our fault, we should have paid. Anyways, they locked us out of our room after being there 6 nights because of this. They said we had to pay $200 extra and the lady at the front desk could not produce a breakdown of how she came up with this amount. I could have stayed at the holiday in for the $208 we already paid on top of the $200 she wanted. She said "if you do not pay this, I will call the city pound tomorrow and have them pick up your pets and keep your stuff" Everything we owned was in the room. We had to call the police and they put her in her place. And told her "we would be getting out stuff and dogs back either way tonight". She finally said $100 and would charge our card on Saturday since we didn't have much money. Saturday rolls around and there is a charge for $50 and a charge for $150. I called them and they said they would refund $100. 4 days later, still no refund. I disputed the charge with my bank. AWFUL and NOT "American Owned" as a previous reviewer stated. If you like paying Holiday in prices and stayingin a 1 star hotel, then this is for you!
